Ms Kathryn Barrie is the Director, Infrastructure and Access, with primary responsibility for policy and regulatory projects relating to electricity and gas networks, including the reform of the Pilbara electricity system.
Ms Barrie originally joined the former Office of Energy in 2001 and has extensive experience in the development and implementation of energy sector policy and reform, network regulation and financial analysis.
While the majority of her public sector career has been spent in the energy sector, Ms Barrie also has experience in whole of government procurement and education, having played a key role in the implementation of education policy reforms. Prior to joining the public service, Ms Barrie worked for two large international consulting firms.
