Over the past 40 years, Barbara Henry has advocated for the rights of Aboriginal families, women, communities and children voices to be heard. Ms Henry’s has held numerous positions that have required policy and program intervention regarding family and domestic violence.
One of the Noongar Family Safety and Wellbeing Council’s (NFSWC) key objectives is to ensure the safety of families, especially women and children, ensuring families stay safe together and children are not unnecessarily removed and placed into care.
