Experience 1: Exploring interagency collaboration
Gain a deeper understanding of the functions and responsibilities of other agencies in the WA public sector and recognise the importance of relationship building and interagency networking.
Experience 2: Understanding Parliament
Delve into the inner workings of the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council to gain a deeper understanding of their functions and processes.
Experience 3: Networking in action
Participants apply the learning from skill builder 3 on relationship building, engaging in meaningful interactions to strengthen professional connections. This event offers an opportunity to put communication strategies into practice, fostering relationships that support career development and interagency collaboration.
Experience 4: Coffee roulette
Coffee roulette fosters connections across the sector by pairing graduates from different agencies for informal coffee (or beverage of your choice) meetings. These meetings are an excellent opportunity for graduates to build valuable relationships, enhancing sector culture, communication, collaboration and networking.
Experience 5: Reflection and growth circles
These ‘circles’ are non-compulsory follow-up gatherings that to promote personal and professional development of participants in a supportive and collaborative environment. They foster self awareness, resilience and meaningful social connections while providing an opportunity to apply and deepen the insights gained from the learning experiences. The sessions are structured yet self managed, encouraging participants to take responsibility for their ongoing growth in a shared, reflective space.
