Regional north land capacity analysis

The regional north land capacity analysis provides a broad overview of the land capacity of settlements in the Gascoyne, Indian Ocean Territories, Kimberley and Pilbara regions with respect to forecast population growth.
Last updated:

Based on the content of applicable local planning instruments, the Regional North Land Capacity Analysis examines existing and future land capacity in each local government.

The documents available below present the land-use supply mapping and associated analysis for each local government area in these regions. It is intended that they will be amended periodically to reflect future updates to local planning instruments as relevant.

The information within the documents has been prepared for guidance purposes only. For selected regional centres the Western Australian Planning Commission undertakes a more comprehensive analysis of land supply through their Regional Land Supply Assessments.
