The Gas Advisory Board (GAB) is a committee of gas industry and consumer representatives convened under the Gas Services Information (GSI) Rules to provide advice in relation to GSI Rule Change Proposals.

GAB Governance Documents

The GSI Rules outline the functions and composition of the GAB, as well as the procedures for appointing new members. The GSI Rules require the Coordinator of Energy to develop and publish a Constitution for the GAB.

Gas Advisory Board Biennial Composition Reviews

Under clause 13(3) of the GSI Rules, the Coordinator of Energy must review the composition of the GAB every two years and may remove and appoint members following the review.

The review process is outlined in the GAB Constitution, provided under the GAB Governance Documents section above.

The Coordinator has commenced the 2024 Biennial GAB Composition Review and is seeking to fill the below vacancies:
