Electricity retail licence exemption granted to Distributed Power Generation Limited (trading as Disgen)

The Public Utilities Office sought public comment on an application from Distributed Power Generation Limited for a retail licence exemption to sell electricity to customers through solar power purchase agreements.

The Public Utilities Office advertised Distributed Power Generation Limited’s licence exemption application for public comment on 5 September 2016. No submissions were received.

Distributed Power Generation Limited  has now been granted a retail licence exemption by the Governor under section 8 of the Electricity Industry Act 2004. A current version of the exemption can be found on the Western Australian Legislation website.
