The winners of the 2023 Margaret Medcalf Award were announced at a special ceremony on 17 November 2023 attended by shortlisted nominees, past winners of the Award and invited guests.
The annual Margaret Medcalf Award encourages nominations of works that demonstrate use of archival sources and substantial use of State Archives. Nominated works may be fiction or non-fiction and may comprise any format and may be published or unpublished. Nominations may be submitted by anyone, including the author of the work and must have been completed or published during the previous calendar year.
