Kalgoorlie Detectives have charged a 43-year-old man in relation to an incident that occurred in Warburton on Thursday, 24 October 2024.    About 11am, the man was present at his work site at Warburton Airport. It will be alleged the man entered into a work utility vehicle and drove at speed into the hangar towards two colleagues. Both men were struck by an object the vehicle collided with.   The man was arrested by Warburton Police and taken into custody.    One male colleague – aged in his 30’s – received a laceration to his forehead. The other male colleague – aged in his 30’s – received minor injuries.    A 43-year-old man from Warburton has been charged with two counts of ‘Attempted Unlawfully to Kill’.   He was refused bail and appeared in Warburton Magistrates Court today, Friday 25 October 2024, where he was remanded in custody to appear in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday 30 October 2024.   The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.   Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.   All reports may remain anonymous if they wish.
