Arson Squad officers are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate a house fire that occurred in Sinagra on Sunday, 3 August 2025.

About 2.10am, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) were called to the unoccupied home located on Pinjar Road.  The home was destroyed in the fire and the estimated damage cost is $300,000.

The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious and Arson Squad officers urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity, vehicles, or people in the area around the time of the fire, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au

Anyone with CCTV, mobile phone, or dash-cam vision taken of the area around Pinjar Road near Caporn Street between 1.30am and 2.45am on Sunday 3 August, can upload the vision direct to investigators via the link:

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
