Short Stays aim to address the gap in the provision of short-term non-crisis accommodation to support Aboriginal people visiting Geraldton or Kununurra.

Short Stays will have their own place-based service delivery model informed by stakeholder engagement and consultation for the region in which they will be based. Additionally, the Short Stays will provide guests with access to local support services.

Acceptance of responses closed on Friday, 4 November 2022, at 4.30pm (Perth, Western Australia).

Short Stays are designed to provide safe, culturally appropriate short-term accommodation for Aboriginal people who travel to regional centres.

For information about Short Stays please email aboriginalshortstay@communities.wa.gov.au.
