Since April 2018, jobsandskills.wa.gov.au has been the one-stop-shop for Western Australians seeking information, resources and support for training, career development, and job seeking. The website has received over 6.5 million visitors, and helped thousands of people get into training, develop their career, or find employment. It’s also supporting WA’s employers and business to grow their workforce.
Today, we have launched the first stage of website improvements and enhancements to the Jobs & Skills WA (JSWA) website. You’ll see a new home page, as well as improvements to the course list and occupation profiles to make it easier to find information, support and services. Our free jobs board also has a new look, with easier searching and some great new features. And the good news is — this is just the first step! more exciting improvements are coming in 2025 including further design changes and a full review of website content to ensure we’re providing you with the most useful information, resources and support.
We invite you to take a look: jobsandskills.wa.gov.au.
The Department of Training and Workforce Development is committed to delivering quality online services and information for our clients and stakeholders, and supporting the State Government’s key training and workforce development initiatives and programs. The website refresh is in response to feedback from our clients and stakeholders, and a research-based review that identified opportunities to improve the website’s design, functionality and content. It will enhance useability and support visitors to find information and support related to training, career development, and jobs in Western Australia.
