Palmyra Police are seeking information regarding an incident on the walkway under the Mount Henry Bridge, in Applecross, on Saturday 28 December 2024.   Sometime between 5:10pm and 5:20pm, a woman aged in her 30s was standing on the walkway under the Mount Henry Bridge, near the Mount Pleasant end, when a person described as a male teenager riding an e-scooter approached her and threw an unknown liquid at her.   The liquid came into contact with the woman’s right arm and right leg, and caused an immediate burning sensation.   The offender was last seen with two other youths on e-scooters in the vicinity of the Mount Henry Bridge Reserve, near Curruthers Road.   Upon arriving home, the woman noticed the liquid caused her to have red welts where it had struck her.   The incident was reported to police yesterday, Tuesday 31 December 2024, and an investigation was commenced.   Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who has CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone vision that captured three youths on e-scooters in the area around the time of the incident, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
