Officers from Road Policing Group North are seeking the public’s assistance for information relating to a serious crash that occurred in Perth on Monday, 31 March 2025.
About 5:30am, a white Volvo truck exited the Mitchell Freeway off ramp onto Mounts Bay Road. The truck failed to take the turn and crashed into a building at the intersection of Mounts Bay Road and the freeway off-ramp.
The driver – a 55-year-old man – sustained serious injuries in the crash and was conveyed to hospital.
Road Policing Group officers wish to speak to any motorists who saw the Volvo truck travelling north on the Kwinana Freeway or Mitchell Freeway prior to the crash, and urge anyone with any information relating to this crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
