
Geraldton Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance, as they continue to investigate a sexual assault which occurred in Geraldton, around midnight on Friday 4 April 2025.
Sometime between 11.50pm Friday 4 April 2025, and 12.40am Saturday 5 April 2025, two male offenders were seen talking to a number of people at the Geraldton Foreshore, after leaving a licensed premise.
About 12.45am, police were called to reports a woman was being sexually assaulted on the beach.
A 33-year-old man, and a 34-year-old man were arrested at the scene a short time later.
Both men from Piara Waters have been charged with one count of ‘Aggravated Sexual Penetration without Consent’ and are due to appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on Thursday, 10 April 2025.
As enquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV images of a vehicle seen leaving the area with several passengers, before the driver returned.
Police wish to speak with anyone who was travelling in the vehicle, as they may have further information relating to the incident.
