Income eligibility limits for social housing have increased. This latest increase will ensure that recipients of Commonwealth statutory benefits who receive no other income continue to remain eligible for social housing.

The increase to income eligibility limits affects both public housing and community housing where public housing income eligibility limits are used.

Social housing income eligibility limits have increased by $13 for single income households and $20 for dual income households.

Income limit increases are effective from 16 September 2024, ensuring those most vulnerable in our community remain eligible for social housing.
