Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate an incident that occurred on Waldeck Street in Geraldton yesterday, Saturday 5 April 2025.

About 5:50am, a 59-year-old man was located unconscious on the roadway of Waldeck Street, near Brede Street.

Paramedics from St. John Ambulance WA attended and provided first aid to the man, but he was unable to be revived and died at the scene.

Major Crash detectives are investigating if the man was struck by a vehicle.

Detectives urge anyone who was in the area of Waldeck Street between 5:30am and 6:30am yesterday; or who has CCTV or dash-cam vision of Waldeck Street; or any information relating to this incident, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
