All Western Australians can continue to receive a free flu vaccination during the month of July 2022.
To date, more than 30 per cent of WA has been vaccinated for influenza this year, with almost a third of those jabbed during June.
The free flu program is being extended to help even more Western Australians prepare for winter.
To get your free flu vaccination, walk in to any state-run COVID-19 vaccination clinic or make a booking at participating pharmacies and GPs.
The State's free flu vaccination program includes primary school aged children, people experiencing homelessness and residents in congregate (shared) living settings such as disability care, mental health hostels and youth group housing, but was expanded during June to all Western Australians.
Please note, children under 5 years can access a free flu vaccine under the National Immunisation Program. State-run clinics do not offer flu vaccinations for children under 5 years.
It’s important to continue practising good hygiene habits, wear a mask as necessary, and stay home if you are unwell, to make sure you are healthy and safe over winter.
