Fatal E-Scooter Crash - Mount Tarcoola

Geraldton Police are investigating an incident that occurred in Mount Tarcoola on Wednesday, 24 December 2025.

About 12.10am, a 37-year-old man was riding a rental e-scooter along the footpath adjacent to Brand Highway, near the intersection of Glendinning Road, when he lost control and fell. 

The man sustained life threatening injuries as a result of the fall and sadly died at the scene.

The matter remains under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed the man riding prior to the incident, or has any dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage should make a report to Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
