Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a crash that occurred in Bunbury on Saturday, 21 February 2026.

About 5.40pm, a black Honda motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Symmons Street, when the pillion passenger fell from the motorcycle.

Emergency services attended the scene. 

The 37-year-old female passenger sustained critical injuries and was conveyed to Bunbury Hospital, where she sadly later died as a result of injuries sustained. The 38-year-old male driver was not injured.
