The Western Australian Government is seeking Expressions of Interest from the community across the native forestry region to participate in the Native Forestry Community Advisory Group.

This group will play an important role in the consideration of funding applications for projects that aim to strengthen our local economies and continue to develop thriving, inclusive and liveable communities.

The Native Forestry Community Advisory Group assists the Hon Dave Kelly MLA, Minister for Forestry, in considering and advising on projects seeking financial assistance through the Community Small Grants Fund. This fund sits within the Industry and Community Development Programs of the Native Forestry Transition.

The Community Small Grants Fund will support locally-based projects that stimulate regional economies and create liveable communities. Local Member for Warren Blackwood, Ms Jane Kelsbie MLA, will chair the advisory group, which will include up to five representatives from local industry, business and community. Participation on the group is voluntary.

Please note that advisory group members would be ineligible to apply for grants and must declare any direct or indirect conflicts of interest when reviewing applications to the fund.
