Expressions of Interest open for Volunteering Community Reference Group

Expressions of Interest are now open for membership on the Volunteering Community Reference Group.

First established in 2017, the role of the Reference Group is to provide advice on emerging trends and issues impacting the sector and provide feedback on the implementation of the WA Volunteering Strategy.

Up to 15 people will make up the Volunteering Community Reference Group with members from:

  • The volunteering sector, including individuals and organisation representatives
  • The sector peak body, Volunteering WA
  • The Department of Communities

Young people, LGBTQIA+ people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culturally and linguistically diverse people, people with disability, and people living in regional and remote areas of Western Australia are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applications closed at 4pm on Friday 9 August 2024.
