The Department of Communities, in partnership with sector partners, will be holding a series of free webinars in 2024 that aim to support organisations to learn more about how to implement the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
Child Safe Recruitment and Staff Support Webinar

This free online workshop will focus on National Principle 5: People working with children and young people are suitable and supported to reflect child safety and wellbeing values in practice.
The workshop will cover practical elements of child safe recruitment, the role of screening, employee inductions and ongoing staff support.
Guest speakers include representatives from the Department of Communities Working with Children Screening Unit, Australian Childhood Foundation, Anglicare WA and Uniting WA.
