Key points include:
- Not all staff/volunteers are eligible for a WWC Check and
- National policies cannot override the requirements of the Working with Children (Screening) Act 2004.
Sport and recreation clubs and associations are encouraged to access specific sector resources, including:
- Resource ORG02: WWC Check, Compliance Toolkit – Sport and recreation and
- Factsheet ORG03: WWC Check, Sports and recreation sector or register for a Ready, Check, Chat with the Community Engagement Team to address any specific queries.
