Call for Membership Nominations for the Essential System Services Framework Review Working Group

The Coordinator of Energy, in consultation with the Market Advisory Committee (MAC), is conducting a review of the Essential System Services (ESS) Framework, incorporating: 

  • A review of the ESS Process and Standards under Section 3.15 of the Wholesale Electricity Market Rules; and 
  • a review of the Supplementary Essential Systems Services Procurement Mechanism (SESSM) under clause 2.2D.1(h)

The MAC has established the ESS Framework Review Working Group (ESSFRWG) to support the review.  

The MAC Secretariat is seeking membership nominations for the ESSFRWG.  

There are no restrictions on the number of ESSFRWG members. However, the Chair of the ESSFRWG may only approve one member from each organisation.

All nominations should be made via email to energymarkets@demirs.wa.gov.au by 5:00pm (AWST) 21 October 2024 and must include the following information:    

  • The name of the nominee  
  • The name of the nominee’s employing company  
  • The position of the nominee  
  • Nominee contact information (email and telephone)
