Boost for regional initiatives to raise awareness of elder abuse

The WEAAD Regional Grants Program is now open and will provide grants of up $5,000 for initiatives that raise awareness of elder abuse.

Regional local governments and registered not-for-profit organisations around Western Australia can apply for grants to hold initiatives in regional areas to mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, held on 15 June each year.

The grants will be delivered by the Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre, with funding from the Department of Communities through an open competitive grants process that will close on 12 April 2025.
