Cannington Detectives have charged two youths after an incident at a supermarket in East Victoria Park yesterday, 4 December 2024.
It will be alleged about 1pm, the youths were in a supermarket located on Albany Highway when they attempted to leave the store without paying for various items.
A staff member asked the youths to return the items and it will be alleged a physical altercation occurred between the youths and the staff member, which resulted in the staff member sustaining bruising and swelling to his face.
An 18-year-old male from Floreat and a 17-year-old male from Doubleview have each been charged with Aggravated Robbery, and they are due to appear on Friday 20 December 2024 in the Perth Magistrates Court and the Perth Children’s Court respectively.
