Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking the public’s assistance for information relating to a serious crash that occurred in Albany on Wednesday, 10 September 2025.

About 2.05pm, a van travelling on Albany Highway struck a woman on a mobility scooter as she crossed at the zebra crossing on Albany Highway near Elizabeth Street.

The 81-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to the Albany Health Campus for treatment.  The 64-year-old male driver of the van was uninjured.
