Local laws and ordinances

The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries provides support across the local government sector to those requesting assistance and others identified as needing targeted intervention or support.

​The Local Government Act 1995 enables Western Australian local governments to make local laws considered necessary for the good government of their districts.

Anyone can report acts of graffiti vandalism against public assets, community facilities or private property.

It is considered an out of control gathering when the party contains at least 12 people with at least two engaging in anti-social behaviour.
