Caitlin Ward
Caitlin is a Policy Officer working to deliver the Western Australian Plan for Plastics, she is also currently working towards completing her honours thesis in Aquatic Ecology. Caitlin has travelled much of Australia and developed a deep appreciation for our states unique environment and looks forward to seeing community-grown sustainability projects.
Joe Quinlivan
Joe has a sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for community aesthetics. By day, Joe contributes his creative expertise at 'Oli Clothing' and a graphic design business, 'Old Love Litter'. Joe's dedication to enhancing beauty and sustainability in his community will be evident in his judging approach, aimed at celebrating towns that exemplify cleanliness, creativity, and civic pride.
Daisy Passmore
Daisy is an Environmental Officer in industry regulation, and undergoes environmental risk assessments to protect public health, the environment and water resources of Western Australia. Daisy is passionate and curious about wildlife conservation and the three pillars of sustainability (environmental, social and economical). Daisy is excited to be on the judging panel again in 2024 and looks forward to meeting the tidy towns entrants and community members.
Catriona Drysdale
Catriona works for Keep Australia Beautiful, coordinating the Litter Enforcement Program which encourages and educates motorists on how to correctly dispose of litter as they travel throughout our beautiful state.
Joanne Ferguson
Joanne is Keep Australia Beautiful's longest serving judge with eighteen years experience. Joanne has a background in environmental science and community communications and education, with a focus on sustainability and waste management. Joanne lives in the Hills near Perth, but feels at home out in the regions.
Teresa Hartnell
A Keep Australia Beautiful volunteer, Teresa has been a co- judge since 2018. Teresa is a business owner and lives in regional WA. Teresa has a passion for community development.
Cydney Williamson-Smith
Cydney is an Environmental Officer in the Assurance branch at DWER, where she plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance to Western Australian environmental regulations. With extensive travel and work experience across various regions of Australia, Cydney has cultivated a profound appreciation for the diverse landscapes and communities she encounters. Cydney is thrilled to return as a judge for 2024 and eagerly anticipates meeting the Tidy Town communities.
Peter Kenyon
Peter is CEO, Bank of Ideas, and has exceptional knowledge of regional development, offering his insights to communities to encourage sustainable outcomes. Peter has been involved with the Awards since 2017 and was the Western Australian Senior of the year in 2017.
Maureen Maher
Maureen is a Community Engagement Practitioner, who has experience developing and delivering projects in the environment, health and community sectors. As a passionate community builder she works to highlight the strengths and assets of local communities, connect people to their local places and services and bring people together.
Roselt Croeser
Roselt is a retired mining engineer and now divides his time between sailing, building projects and gardening. He has an ongoing interest in sustainability, solar passive house design and integrating our living spaces with nature.
Kylie Payne
Kylie has enjoyed being involved in a variety of Landcare and environmental roles with state and local government and community Landcare groups from the Goldfields, the Midwest, the South West and the Great Southern. Kylie loves travelling in our great state and meeting and networking with people who are doing inspiring work on their patch and in their communities.
Rohan Swan
Rohan is Senior Project Officer with Keep Australia Beautiful. His main role is coordinating litter prevention projects with major KABC partners such as Main Roads WA and Local Governments. Rohan has a Bachelor of Science in Coastal Geomorphology and has a particular interest in marine debris research and prevention.
Andrew Bagust
Andrew has travelled extensively over WA and always picks up litter where ever he goes. Andrew has his own property company and utilises recycling, reclaiming and reuse of materials in his building projects.
Wendy Bagust
Living near the ocean, Wendy sees the build up of litter at the beach and picks up litter on her daily walks. She is interested in being part of a group that informs and encourages others to take care of their communities.
Tracy Marshall
Having grown up in a farming family, Tracy understands the challenges of regional living and the important role the community plays in looking after each other and the environment. Tracy has been involved in a variety of State Government initiatives related to waste avoidance and resource recovery and appreciates the significant contributions individuals and communities make in delivering on- ground outcomes.
Stephanie Hagenbrock
Stephanie has lived in small and remote communities and has experienced firsthand the effect waste and particularly ocean debris can have on a community. She has organised and helped facilitate community and children education programs around numerous environmental topics.
