Change licence details notification
Refer to the below table for how to notify a relevant change to the Chief Dangerous Goods Officer:

Notifying change of details
Show moreThe Department’s Chief Dangerous Goods Officer must be informed within 14 days of any material changes to the details on a licence, registration and dangerous goods security card, including:
- Change of holder name (individual, company, partnership or trust)
- Change of business trading name
- Change of residential, business or postal address
- Correction to date of birth.

Transferable licences or registrations
An individual, partnership, body corporate or a trust may hold a licence or registration. The type of applicant determines which form is required to amend or transfer a licence or registration:
- Dangerous goods pipeline licence
- Dangerous goods site licence
- Explosives manufacturer licence
- Explosives storage licence
- Explosives manufacturer (MPU) licence
- Explosives supply licence
- Explosives import/export licence
- Explosives transport licence
- SSAN import/export licence
- SSAN storage licence
- SSAN supply licence
- SSAN transport licence
- SSAN manufacture licence
Non-transferable licences
The licences listed below are held by individuals and are non-transferable:
- Fireworks operator licence
- Fireworks contractor licence
- Pyrotechnics (special use) licence
- Shot firing licence
Changes to personal details can be dealt with by using the change of details form.
If the licence needs upgrading to reflect a change in competency, an application form must be submitted with the new competency information (i.e. certificate, licence).

If you hold a personal licence, and have access to SRS, you can log on to SRS to amend any of your personal details. Any change will flow through to other licences you hold.

Change to driving record
If a driver’s licence is cancelled, the licence holder must inform Licensing Services by email dangerousgoods@demirs.wa.gov.au.
Upgrade to shotfiring licence
If you wish to add a new class to your shot firing licence, please email the relevant statement of attainment to dangerousgoods@demirs.wa.gov.au
