Surrender a building licence
To surrender a building licence registration, a request must be submitted in writing to the department.
Each request goes to the Board for approval.
To be valid, all requests for surrender must be signed by all Directors of a company, or all partners within a partnership.
Once the Board has granted approval for the surrender of a licence, a refund of the remaining registration fee will be refunded to your nominated account.
Please send your written surrender request, either by email, post or in person, with the following details:
- Include your company name and licence number.
- The date the licence is to be surrendered from.
- Include the details of your nominated account for any refund fees due to be paid.
