Prospecting and exploration activities approved under a Programme of Work (PoW) must be rehabilitated within the timeframe stipulated by the relevant tenement condition unless otherwise approved in writing by an Environmental Officer.
Rehabilitation reports should be submitted to DMPE and include both before and after photographs (including a significant landmark) with captions detailing location, date and a brief description of the content of the photograph.
As of 9 September 2025, PoW rehabilitation reports can be submitted via the Resources Online system. All tenement holders are encouraged to submit rehabilitation reports via Resources Online, particularly those who submit PoW applications through Resources Online.
Hardcopy rehabilitation reports are still accepted and can be lodged in hardcopy over the counter at any DMPE office.
