The Coronial Investigations 90-Day Regulatory Mapping and Reform Project was completed in June 2018. This project sought to reduce delays and improve the efficiency of coronial investigations in Western Australia.
The project was conducted in collaboration with the Office of the State Coroner, Western Australia Police Force, the Department of Justice, the Department of Health, and other agencies and service providers involved in the coronial process in Western Australia.
This project has delivered:
- A process maps of regulatory, physical and administrative processes involved in the coronial process to identify impediments and potential efficiencies
- Practical and achievable recommendations developed in collaboration with principal stakeholders.
- A project summary report that gives an overview of the project and its outcomes.
