The WA Innovator of the Year Awards’ Rio Tinto Growth Innovation Category recognises WA innovators who have developed an outstanding innovative product, technology, process or service that is post-revenue. The applicant must also clearly demonstrate an economic, social or environmental benefit to Western Australia.

The Western Australia Innovator of the Year program has showcased innovative and entrepreneurial individuals, businesses and creative minds since 2006.

All finalists for the WAIOTY program will receive a wide range of commercialisation training and development opportunities, including one-on-one mentoring sessions, a professional photo and video shoot, as well as workshops and webinars on pitch presentation, protecting your IP, grant writing and much more.

This year 6 finalists have been chosen for the Rio Tinto Growth Innovation Category.

Innovative Energy Solutions

The Autonomous Solar Cleaning Robot (ASCR) is an innovative and adaptable solution for effectively cleaning solar panels in remote and harsh environments.
