The Innovation Booster Grant is a competitive funding grant. It provides WA-based startups and small businesses with the financial boost needed to access professional skills, services or knowledge, enabling you to advance your innovative idea, project or commercial activity in Western Australia.

This Western Australian Government grant program is designed to assist innovators to overcome barriers to commercialisation. 

First launched in 2011, the IBG is part of the WA Government's $16.7 million New Industries Fund to attract investment and promote the economic diversification of WA. Since the grant began, 233 grants have been awarded, valued at about $3.7 million.

The Department of Jobs, Science, Tourism and Innovation administers the grant.
