The Innovation Booster Grant is a competitive funding grant designed to help Western Australian innovators overcome barriers on the path to commercialisation.
First launched in 2011, the IBG is part of the WA Government's $16.7 million New Industries Fund to attract investment and promote the economic diversification of Western Australia.
Meet the 2024 recipients
In 2024, 82 innovators have been announced and will share in $3,251,375 of grant funding.
56 of the recipients come from either female founded companies, are based in regional Western Australia or are First Nations innovators.
Over half of all applications received were from female, First Nation, youth, regional or founders from a culturally diverse background.
