Meet the recipients with conditional grant funding from the $33.6 million Lower Carbon Grants Program - Gorgon Fund which will deliver green energy and greentech projects in Western Australia to support a sustainable low carbon future.
Last updated:

The Lower Carbon Grants Program – Gorgon Fund (LCG) provided funding for large research and innovation activities across industries that significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions or test, demonstrate and deploy technologies that support lower carbon projects.

The Fund provided matched funding for projects which deliver broader benefits to the WA community through:

  • knowledge sharing
  • enhanced skills and capability,
  • development of new business opportunities,
  • economic diversification, or
  • regional development.

Resulting in potential emissions of CO2-e being substantially lower than the current average of the most relevant baseline for the activity and supporting decarbonisation in Western Australia.
