Board members provide advice on implementing WA's Innovation Strategy based on their experience in a cross-section of innovative industries.

Western Australia's Innovation Advisory Board (IAB) is made up of 11 board members who represent a diverse cross-section of industries in the innovation and entrepreneurial space. 

The board members provide independent advice and support on the implementation of the WA Government’s 10-year Innovation Strategy, launched in 2022, through a 2-year term. 

They provide feedback on the effectiveness of the plan's programs and initiatives and advise on what metrics should be used to measure the State's progress against the strategy's actions and goals.
