Last updated:

The Health and Medical Life Sciences Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) Scheme aims to provide WA Health and Medical Life Science organisations with funding assistance, where strategically aligned opportunities exist, to attract overseas or interstate entrepreneurs or experts for a time-limited residency role.

Up to $30,000 in sponsorships will be available to promote WA’s biomedical industry at a national and international level.

EIR will encourage overseas or interstate Health and Medical Life Science entrepreneurs and experts to work in WA for a time-limited residency role to support a local biomedical company with their growth. This will allow local leaders gain access to advice and guidance from international entrepreneurs to assist with strategic skills development.

Up to $10,000 is available per successful applicant organisation, who will host the resident entrepreneur for a short-term period.

Resident entrepreneurs are expected to deliver or contribute to a specific program, event, or schedule of activities during their tenure in WA which will help support the broader biomedical system.
