The WA Regional Clinical Trial Coordinating Centre (WARCCC) team is dedicated to leveraging the latest best practice technologies to conduct clinical trials safely, efficiently and to a high quality. Operating across Western Australia's diverse regional communities, the WARCCC team is made up of clinical trial experts in nursing, coordination, pharmacy, and medical, collaborating to ensure the highest standards of clinical trial delivery.

WARCCC is embedded in WA Country Health Service, offering a central virtual support model. The team assists sites with clinical trials operations through a centralised support system which includes:

  • Site capability mapping: our detailed assessment enables rapid feasibility and site selection
  •  Expertise in remote clinical oversight: we specialise in managing clinical trials remotely, providing clinical trial expertise and appropriate oversight
  • Hospital connections: we are connected to every hospital in WA
  • Single research governance office for country WA
  • Digital delivery of clinical trials: leading the planning, selection and implementation of digital trial delivery solutions, including electronic site files, eConsent, IMP Management System, 3D virtual tours, Recruitment engine, and Assisted Reality live streaming solutions
