July 2024: Strength Through Supplier Relationships

Presenters Justin Butcher(link is external) of Incitec Pivot Fertilizers and Mark Hazebroek from Main Roads WA, led the discussion that focused on strategies for driving value and innovation, techniques for maintaining transparency and trust, applying the right contract management and strategic supplier relationship approach and building local supplier capability and capacity through effective supplier relationship management.

April 2024: Gaining Insights into Economic Perspectives of 2024

Keynote speakers, Paul Bloxham(link is external) of HSBC and Kaylene Gulich(link is external) from WA Treasury Corporation, shared their expertise on global and local economic landscapes. The discussions centred on key economic trends, anticipated pressures, and opportunities for the WA Government and procurement functions. This event underscored the importance of staying informed about economic trends to make strategic decisions.

September 2023: Public Procurement and the Circular Economy

During this thought leadership event, attendees heard from Joan Prummel, International Circular Economy Advisor, Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Netherlands. He drew on the learnings and experience of the Netherlands in using procurement to accelerate the circular economy by taking a whole-of-life approach at all stages of procurement.
