What is the WA Strategic Procurement Community of Practice?

This Community was launched in March 2023 and provides a forum for senior procurement leaders from across the WA Public Sector to come together and hear insights on strategic matters that impact procurement functions, connect and strengthen networks with their colleagues, share knowledge, and collaborate. Membership in this Community is by invitation only.

Purpose of the Community

As the procurement functional lead for the WA Public Sector, the Department of Finance sponsors and co-ordinates this community to support the continuous capability development of procurement leaders in order to deliver better outcomes for the WA community.

Through this community, we also endeavour to promote the professionalisation of the procurement workforce in the WA Public Sector, which has been recognised as a key factor in lifting the capability of the workforce in the WA Public Sector Procurement Capability Strategy 2022-2025.

Resources

Members of the community and non-members can access recording of the Thought Leader series for the Community of Practice Resources page
