The Pathway to Procurement Program is a unique, 12-month paid initiative designed to turn your skills into a rewarding career in public sector procurement. Through structured learning, hands-on experience and professional development, this program offers you the opportunity to earn, learn and grow while contributing to the WA community.

Why Join the Pathway to Procurement Program?

Earn and Learn

Hands-On Experience
Gain real-world experience through three four-month rotations across government agencies. You’ll work on meaningful projects, engage with various teams, and learn about different areas of government operations, giving you insight into how public sector procurement works from the ground up.

Professional Growth
Enjoy dedicated mentorship, group learning sessions, and development activities. You’ll build valuable skills, resilience, and networks that will support you throughout your career.

Diverse Opportunities
We welcome Cert IV and above VET graduates from all fields and backgrounds, whether you’ve studied Business Administration, Community Services, Project Management, or any other subject. What matters is that you’re organised, a strong communicator, a team player and excited to learn.
