This note provides guidance and recommendations on the rehabilitation of land in public drinking water source areas that has been significantly altered from its natural condition.

It includes land that has been disturbed by agriculture, forestry, mining and extractive industries, tree plantations, human habitation and infrastructure such as roads, railways, conveyors and powerlines.
