This publication offers a visual representation of number and locations of fatal and serious crashes in the Wheatbelt region during 2019-2023.

A fatality is defined as a person killed immediately (or within 30 days) of the crash, as a result of injuries sustained from the crash. A serious injury is defined as a person who is admitted to hospital as a result of the reported crash.

The information presented in this map was sourced from the Main Roads Integrated Road Information System (IRIS) and prepared by the Road Safety Commission.

Crashes where the latitude and longitude were not recorded are not mapped but are included in the total count.

This data is presented in an image-based format so may not be compatible with screen readers. If you need this publication another format, contact the Road Safety Commission.
