This report focuses on the Wallal aquifer as it is substantially larger than the Broome Sandstone aquifer within the West Canning Basin and has greater potential as a water resource.
The report summarises available hydrogeological, environmental, cultural and social information for both aquifers, reviews aquifer and groundwater subarea boundaries and describes the methods used to set allocation limits.
