Yarragil 4X is a small experimental catchment within the Northern Jarrah Forest of the south-west of Western Australia.
t was modelled using the distributed, deterministic Water and Environmental Consultants – Catchment (WEC-C) model to assess the model’s applicability to the catchment; test its sensitivity to variations in forest cover; and provide a model that could be applied in future ‘what-if’ land management studies.
