This webinar was presented on 29 April 2021 by the Australian Government’s WELS Regulator in collaboration with the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation.
The event featured David Jongeneel, Assistant Director at Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards; Tom Roberts, Director at the Australian Building Codes Board; Ursula Kretzer, Senior Manager Water and Environmental Policy at the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation; and Mike Read, Senior Technical Officer, Plumbing at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.
The webinar was held to raise awareness of the WELS scheme, with a focus on helping stakeholders such as builders, developers and plumbers to understand the scheme’s compliance requirements and meet their obligations.
