This drinking water source protection plan has been developed to help protect the quality of water in the South Coast Water Reserve and Limeburners Creek Catchment to ensure the supply of safe drinking water.
The plan details the location and boundary of the drinking water catchment, which provides potable water to the Albany water supply. It describes the water supply system, discusses existing and future land uses, identifies risks, and recommends management approaches to address those risks and maximise protection of the catchment.
