A numerical hydrological and nutrient export model was developed for the Scott River catchment, with the objective of quantifying the water and nutrient inflows from the Scott River to the Hardy Inlet, and to examine the nutrient sources and timing of delivery.
The model was used to determine a cost/benefit analysis for a range of on-ground best management practices (BMPs) for the Scott River catchment. The model supports the Hardy Inlet water quality improvement plan.
